Just picked up a copy at Wegmans. With boys aged 3 and 6 that are being raised Catholic, but with exposure to my Jewish heritage, it seems this will be perfect.

Yield: 3 cups
Recipe Ingredients:
6 peeled apples, coarsely chopped
2/3 c chopped almonds
3 tbsp sugar, or to taste
1/2 tsp cinnamon
grated rind of 1 lemon
4 tbsp sweet red wine
Combine all, mixing thoroughly. Add wine as need. Blend to desired texture- some like it coarse and crunchy, others prefer it ground to a paste. Chill.
I have already purchased 6 x30minute Haggadah’s, and I now need a quick haroset recipe since I’m in Maui and I forgot mine !!!!!!
Thank you !!!
