I use the 30-minute Seder to reconnect my church members with the Jewish roots and foundations of our faith. This haggadah has given me the chance to help them re-learn the Exodus stories through Jewish eyes. This is the third year I have done a complete Seder for our church and words cannot express all this means to me and to the church. We have gained a deeper appreciation for the biblical narratives themselves, for the doctrinal and spiritual foundations of our faith, and above all a deeper understanding of the Jewish people and their special relationship with our Lord. This has even sparked a new plan to visit Jerusalem next fall! We are taking twelve people to the Holy Land in October.
Once again, tonight, we will be conducting a seder which 2 developmentally disabled cousins will attend.
Last year, we used this OUTSTANDING, meaningful seder to which we added some family traditions, and it is the PERFECT service for our family. It must be also excellent for maintaining the interest of young children.
This year. I had lost the password that had accompanied our kit from last year, and “Sederman” was kind enough to send me one to re-open the download.
Thank you “Sederman” for the courtesy but most especially for the extraordinary booklets.
last night (an early seder!) we had the most personal and warmest seder in many years. we used the download as a guide and added our own personal touches and discussions along the way. thank you!
next year in jerusalem (and our dining room)! our best to you all…
